LEGO is adding another beautifully detailed display model to its adult-focused LEGO Icons collection with the new LEGO Icons 11379 Bookstore: Book Nook.
Designed for book lovers, writers and LEGO fans who enjoy detailed architectural builds, the 1,690-piece set creates a miniature two-storey bookstore that can be displayed directly among your own books.
A Bookstore Hidden Between Your Books
The most distinctive feature of 11379 is its book-nook design. Rather than being simply a standalone building, the model can be placed between your real books on a shelf, creating the illusion of looking through a doorway into a tiny bookstore.
The model can also be opened up to reveal its detailed interior, giving builders a much better view of the two-storey scene.
Inside, LEGO has packed the bookstore with architectural details including elegant balconies, a spiral staircase, reading areas and an author’s workspace.
