Welcome to LEGO Fan CoLab
The LEGO Fan CoLab is a new online platform designed to bring together the wider LEGO fan community. It provides a central place where LEGO fan communities, fan creators and fan events can be discovered and celebrated. It is a dedicated space to showcase who they are and what they do, while also opening up new opportunities to connect with the wider LEGO fan community.
For BUGS, this transition is more than a platform change. It is an opportunity to showcase our community, strengthen our presence within the LEGO fan ecosystem, and connect with LEGO fans around the world.
BUGS is now officially on LEGO.com
One of the most exciting changes is that BUGS now has its own public profile on the LEGO Fan CoLab website.
Our community can now be found alongside other Recognized LEGO Fan Communities from around the world, giving LEGO fans the opportunity to discover BUGS and learn more about us and what we do.
As a tightly knitted group, seeing BUGS represented on an official LEGO platform is a proud milestone that reflects the efforts and contributions of our members over the years.
A new badge of recognition
Another exciting part of the transition to Fan CoLab is the introduction of LEGO Fan CoLab badges.
For officially recognized LEGO fan communities such as BUGS, the Recognized LEGO Fan Community badge provides a visible mark of recognition on the platform.
It may be a small badge, but it represents something meaningful to us.
Being a Recognized LEGO User Group has always been something we are proud of. The new badge gives that recognition a new home and a new identity within the LEGO Fan CoLab platform.
And communities aren’t the only ones receiving recognition.
Fan CoLab also recognizes other important parts of the LEGO fan world, including LEGO Fan Creators and LEGO Fan Events, with dedicated badges helping fans identify and discover these different contributions to the community.
Whether it is a fan creator sharing an original MOC or a fan event bringing LEGO enthusiasts together, these badges help celebrate the many different ways fans contribute to the LEGO community.
Looking Ahead
As a LEGO Ambassador and as a member of BUGS, it is incredibly meaningful to see our community officially represented on LEGO’s new platform. We are proud of where we are today and excited about where this new chapter will take us.
