Over the years, Bricks User Group Singapore (BUGS) has grown from a small group of passionate LEGO® fans into a thriving Recognised LEGO User Group (RLUG). Together, we’ve built incredible displays, participated in countless events, made lifelong friendships, and shared our love for LEGO with the community.
As we look ahead to the future, we feel that it’s time for a new chapter.
We’re excited to begin the journey of rebranding BUGS.
This isn’t about changing who we are—it’s about refreshing how we present ourselves. A new look symbolizes a fresh start, reflects how far we’ve come as a community, and gives us an identity that we can proudly wear for many years to come.
Why Rebranding Matters
A unified look is more than just matching apparel.
It gives our members a stronger sense of belonging whenever we gather for events, exhibitions, and community activities. Walking into an event wearing the same BUGS apparel reminds us that we’re all part of something bigger—a passionate community brought together by our love of LEGO.
Rebranding also makes it much easier for members of the public to recognise us during events. Visitors can quickly identify who to approach with questions, learn more about BUGS, or simply have a chat about LEGO. A consistent appearance helps us present a professional and welcoming image while proudly representing our RLUG.
Most importantly, our apparel tells people who we are. Every event is an opportunity to introduce new builders, families, and LEGO enthusiasts to BUGS, and our branding becomes a visual representation of our community spirit.
We Want to Make This Decision Together
This isn’t a decision that should be made by just a handful of people.
BUGS has always been built by its members, and we believe our new look should be chosen by the community, for the community.
To ensure everyone has a voice, we’ll be conducting an internal poll in our BUGS chat group. Members will have the opportunity to share their preferences on the proposed apparel options, including high-visibility safety vests, caps, and tee shirts. Your feedback will help us decide what best represents BUGS and what our members would be proud to wear during future events and exhibitions.
