LEGO Unveils 11387 Holiday House, the Latest Addition to the Winter Village Collection
Christmas is coming to the LEGO Winter Village once again! LEGO has officially revealed LEGO Icons 11387 Holiday House, a charming festive home designed to bring warmth, nostalgia and plenty of Christmas spirit to your LEGO collection.
With 1,354 pieces, the new set is aimed at adult builders and joins the long-running LEGO Winter Village Collection. Inspired by the festive traditions associated with the classic song Jingle Bells, the model recreates a cosy, snow-covered holiday home complete with a horse-drawn sleigh, Christmas decorations and four minifigures.
A Cosy Christmas Home
The main feature of the set is its beautifully detailed Victorian-style holiday house.
The exterior includes snow-covered pitched roofs, a wrap-around porch, bay windows and cross-latticed windows. LEGO has also decorated the façade with festive touches including garlands, golden bells and sprigs of holly, helping to create a warm and traditional Christmas appearance.
But there is plenty to discover inside too.
The two-storey interior includes vintage-inspired furnishings such as:
- A fireplace
- A phonograph
- A rotary telephone
- A mantel clock
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Christmas house without some festive decorations. Builders will also find stockings, candy canes, wrapped gifts and even a freshly baked pumpkin pie.
A Christmas Tree That Lights Up
One of the most charming features of 11387 is the light brick included with the set.
The Christmas tree can be placed inside the house, and when illuminated, its warm glow can be seen through the windows on both floors. This gives the finished model an especially cosy appearance and should make it a wonderful display piece during the holiday season.
A Ride Through the Snow
The festive scene extends beyond the house with a horse-drawn sleigh, a snowman and four minifigures.
The sleigh also includes a play feature that allows the horse to move when the sleigh is pushed, adding a little extra life to the display.
Another nice touch is the way the set can be enjoyed as a shared building experience. LEGO includes two instruction booklets, allowing one person to work on the sleigh while another builds the main house.
