For years, LEGO fans have enjoyed the festive charm of the Winter Village Collection. Now, LEGO is taking things in a delightfully spooky new direction with the introduction of the Midnight Valley Collection, a brand-new series of display sets designed for adults who enjoy mystery, the supernatural, and all things eerie.
Leading the way is the collection’s very first set, 11383 Mayor Manor, a crooked and mysterious mansion that looks as though it has been pulled straight from the pages of a gothic horror story. Featuring 1,420 pieces, the set embraces distorted architecture, tilted walls, weathered textures, creeping vegetation, and a haunting atmosphere that immediately sets it apart from traditional LEGO buildings.
The manor’s exterior is filled with character, including an old tree growing into the structure itself, while the two-storey interior is packed with spooky details. Builders will discover a suit of armour, a fireplace, a library, framed artwork, and a grandfather clock frozen permanently at the stroke of midnight. LEGO has even included three glow-in-the-dark minifigures, along with a cat and rat, to bring the haunted scene to life.
What makes Mayor Manor especially exciting is what it represents. Just as Winter Village evolved into a beloved annual tradition, the Midnight Valley Collection has the potential to become LEGO’s answer to Halloween.
