So you bought a BYGGLEK, what’s next?

Last week we saw the release of LEGO x IKEA’s brainchild, the BYGGLEK. As expected, the response was overwhelming and everything was sold out. While the LEGO fans and the scalpers are awaiting for the next restock, let’s take a closer look at this curious contraption and what we can do with it. You can build with it, you can store things in it. But is that really all there is to it? The BYGGLEK comes in 4 sizes: Large, Medium, Small & Very Small. After fiddling with the product for some time, you will come to the realization that this is something that is so much more. LEGO x…

LEGO Creator Expert: 10295 Porsche 911

[Build Review]Turbo or Targa? Choosing either one will mean missing out on the other. If you are a TRUE Porsche fan, then one set is never enough. My recommendation? Get 2 sets so you can build both the Turbo and the Targa and have them sitting proudly on your choice of display. This Porsche 911 is so amazingly detailed that LEGO has decided to go all in with printed elements for this set. Good news for all not-so-big-on-stickers LEGO fans! #ihatestickers A minor disappointment for the non-trans orange element for the rear signal lights but overall still look aesthetically pleasing. New parts and building techniques have captured the curves and…

Lego Ideas 21313 Ship in a Bottle Review

More Words Less Pictures Edition Or, the “I’m much better at writing than I am at taking photos” edition Ideas, Schmideas… I’ll admit, I’m not the biggest fan of the Ideas theme. While I get that it’s a democratic process where fans are given the chance to vote for the Ideas they would most like to see turned into actual Lego sets, most of the sets that actually make it to production mean little to me. There are some (in my opinion of course) hits – the Curiosity Rover and the Big Bang Theory diorama come to mind – but I had to look up Adventure Time and Voltron…

    Lego 21308 Adventure Time Review

Once again BUGS has the honour to review the new Lego Ideas Adventure Time before it hits the shelves. The Packaging The box is very colourful and will definitely appeals to kids. After all the set is based off a children’s cartoon. The front shows the brick built characters, while the back shows them with their name alongside their cartoon counterparts. Usually there is not much beneath the flap when opening the box, but in this case you have some friendly advice from Finn and Jake, the main characters of Adventure Time. Inside the box, you will find the instruction booklet and three numbered bags. The instruction booklet contains a…

LEGO 21307 Caterham Seven 620R Review

This is the 14th set that comes out from the LEGO Ideas Program and BUGS are honour to have the chance to do a review of this set ahead of the public launch. If you only have few minutes to spare, you can either watch the review video below, or skip right to view and play around with the 360 view of the final build. Otherwise, you can scroll down and read through the details in this post. The whole packaging follows the same as the previous Ideas sets, which is quite solid overall. Notice the 014 numbering at the bottom right of the box, are we expecting to hit 100…
